'Where am I?' - R.K photography

As I mentioned before, I was asked to be a model for one media production project. The theme was the confusion between Japan and England so I am wearing a lil surreal 'English clothes' lol feel like this was such a long time ago but just got sent loads of photos from it so thought sharing it with you...

Girls just wana have fun :)

I don't feel like I am in the holiday at all because of all the uni works we have to do... :(

I have been staying over at my friends' house to do some work but you know how we are like...

sometimes just want to have fun!! lol

so yeah we shooted a little video last night, these are some of the pictures from it. 

I will upload the video as soon as it's edited... it is going to be a craaazy one!

Pray for Japan

I am sorry to hear what happend in Japan.. such a tragedy.
It is the worst feeling ever that I hear the news when I am outside the country.
and there are only limited things I can do.

Although there is not much I can do, I can't just sit down doing nothing.
We japanese students in Winchester decided to do the fundraising events.

We collected some money at Student nights held at the Union, at various locations around the University, and on the High Street.
Also we held a very successful Cultural Day where people were able to experience Origami and Calligraphy workshops and watch Traditional Tea Ceremony and Dancing.

In addition, the other night we did a fundraising dinner event @bangkok brasserie where I work.

The food was Japanese and Thai mixture, we performed japanese dancing and tea ceremony, held an origami session and calligraphy art.

It was really hard to put everything together and organise but we had such an amazing night with all the help from Winchester community.

 I would like to say a big thank you to my manger Miff who kindly let us use the resturant to do this fundrasing dinner, also to Tom who took all these amazing pictures. His website is  http://www.tomalprice.com/  so please check out ;)

I am happy to say we have raised 6018 pounds so far through all these events.

really would like to thank all the people who showed us a great support.

The Red Cross will take the money directly to their Japan Relief Appeal and it will be used to help the search efforts for survivors, help the people who have lost their homes, and help with the rebuilding of Japan.

Pray for Japan with all the love from Winchester.

 

 

My 22nd Birthday

26th of March... was my birthday :) I am 22 years old this year!!

In fact it's not that exciting anymore... getting old...

However I am happy that I celebrated my birthday with my favorite people again this year.

We went for a meal @Bengal sage the Indian restaurant.

I had a really good time :) The suprise cake and the happy birthday song made me a big smile...!

After the restaurant we carried on drinking of course..lol and I ended up having a bottle of water on my hand as usual!! This always means that I had a good night...

I'd like to say thank you to all of my friends who came out for my birthday celebration and who gave me all the messages/texts/calls. AND especially my besties Anna and Amy that gave me the most beautiful birthday presents ever...! They know me too well I must say!

Well now I am 22...

I really have to start thinking about more for the future.

and always have to remember how happy I am :)

It's been long time... again lol

Now I am on the easter break, I am going to upload as many posts as I can!!

Here are the photos from my friend Anna's FYP (Final Year Project).
She is studying dance at the university and for her fyp she had to choreograph the whole piece by herself, she used 7 dancers (including me). All the dancers are meant to be mannequins.

I really liked her piece, really fashionable and styled!!

CPP progress

Hello! 2days in a row.. well done me!lol

Aaaanyways! I have been working on CCP (company project) with my group, its about racism but using circus skills and clowns in the piece... in other word we are sort of being sarcastic and making it funny but it has a really deep message...

Here is some pictures from one of the rehearsal, we are 6 of us but only  turned up this day so there are not much of us in the picture.

I've been japan and paris and everywhere hahha!

I just didnt know what to write on here as I haven't really done much performances or anything! I've been busy on my course work (yes Iam 3rd year student!!lol) ...

but I did a little photoshoot in japan and here is the picture... i look very japanese ummm :)

My friend who edited this is also very keen on photographing like my other friend Amy...;) She will set up her website soon so I will introduce you once she sets it!

Oh other thing.. I've decided to write a diary!!yay!lol
I have changed my phone to iPhone so now I can connect to the world anytime..therefore I thouhgt I could share my funny experiences everyday haha

Halloween performances!

Happy halloween! :)
I performed at halloween ball and bar31 on the 29th and 30th for the halloween events! So yes no dressing up for me I had to wear costume :( but I made my costume by myself and enjoyed the halloween magic (the only time you can dress up as crazy as possible!hehe)

this is from 1st night, smokey eye shadow+white and black face paint+black lip stick!

this is for the second night, I did spider eyes and bloody lip stick!haha






















Both performances went ok and we had a really good time!
It was the last halloween performance as a member of dance squad... :(

I have no idea what I am doing this time next year...aww scarely!!!!

Amy Bevis-Smith Photography

Amy Bevis-Smith is one of my besties studying choreography and dance at the university. She is ovbiously a dancer but she is also really good at photography. The other day she did a photoshoot for me and... wow it was A-mazing!!! Hyper Japan 2010

Heya! The other day I performed at 'hyper japan 2010' in london, loverpool street :)

We did para para workshop so audience can learn how to dance and we all danced together at the end!
The video is our performance at the beggining!
Para para is a one of the dances that japanese young girls enjoy doing- its easy steps and arm movement so anyone can enjoy dancing!!

It was really fun dressing up as 'gyal' as well.

I danced with Eilish, Niijii and Kaji san :)

Kaji san is not in this picture but when I get the photo of 4 of us I will add it to here!
